Fumble Downunder

What a disappointing Sunday!!! lost my days sleep watching the Indian team give up their desire of victory against the oz in Adelaide. Guys put up an impressive bowling performance in the first 25 overs of the Australian innings with some tight bowling by ishant and irfan, but the batters kept me waitin nd waitin until they surrendered to a meek 152.At 75/5 .I really anticipated score under 180 but clarke nd hogg partnered to give Aussies a not though respectable score of 203 in 50 overs, the Indians certainly failed to capitalize on their good start with the leather. 203 always seemed like a gettable total on that strip bu indians as usual succumbed to the aussie pressure and played some irresponsible shots to get themselves out, prominent being Rohit sharma and Dhoni's uncalled for run out, and yuvraj continued with his lackluster form. With only 3 matches to go.Indians must win at least two of them to secure a place in the finals and for the Aussies with this win they seem to have virtually sealed their place in the finals.

Obama pips Clinton

What a comeback oh boy!!! wit wins in all the primaries that went to polls last week Barack Obama has certainly put Hillary clinton on backfoot. And while the world thought the US is gonna get its first woman president, the contest just got heated up for the democrat candidacy.Obama with his awesome oratorial skills is for sure wooing the democrat voters with his mantra of "Change". The disappointing show at last weekends primary did show its signs in the Clinton camp with two of her campaign managers quitting their jobs. With next super tuesday slated on 4th march man the races' is really heating up. On the other side of the campaign John McCain seems to be a clear winner for the Republican candidacy and there seems to be no contest over there. "It took a Clinton to end papa Bushs' reign and it will take a Clinton to end his sons reign over the country". And this comment seems it could take more time to be realised, lets wait till Aug 28 '08. And Obama is certainly my favorite. :)
